The film's collections have risen substantially day after day and over the weekend.

With the cash registers ringing incessantly, Dangal promises to land in the Rs 300-crore club soon. The film starring Aamir Khan has managed to hit it big at the box office in the domestic box office collecting over Rs. 100 crore in just three days. The highest weekend box office collection this year belongs to Salman Khan's Sultan, which released on Eid this year. Also, this flick collected around 42.35 Crore alone from the third day of release which is quite good.

Like many, filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma too went in to experience the cinematic gem and was left awe struck.

Yes, they have keenly set their eyes on the box office collections to see if Dangal could become the highest grossing film of all the time.

With no new releases to challenge the film till 13 January, 2017, it is expected Dangal will put up a sterling show in the holiday season.
