Chris Martin Sings 'Last Christmas' In Touching Tribute To George Michael

Legend: Following his performance Chris was described as being a'legend by a volunteer from the Crisis team whilst the tribute was described as being'moving

Chris Martin surprised residents of a homeless shelter in London by staging an impromptu performance on Tuesday (27Dec16).

Martin played guitar on the famed festive tune while shelter guest Kevin, dubbed "king of karaoke", sang.

Shelter volunteer Nish Manek, 29, said the performance was "moving" and described Martin as "humble".

Volunteers from the Crisis Center had greatly participated in the event, and the homeless residents as well were seen to be absolutely satisfied and joyous during the event.

The Coldplay frontman reportedly dropped into the Crisis Centre in west London and performed a set, which he dedicated to late singer George Michael, who passed away on Christmas Day (25Dec16) aged 53.

Another volunteer shared pictures of Chris singing while he sat on a chair playing acoustic guitar and another of his autograph.

"A huge thank you to Coldplay's Chris Martin for dropping by our Crisis at Christmas centres and entertaining our guests!" the shelter wrote in a post on its Facebook page.
