Arsenal fans planning another protest against Arsene Wenger

Cristiano Ronaldo No interest in China move

Theo Walcott broke Lincoln's resistance just before the break and Olivier Giroud quickly added to the lead on 53 minutes. There was no fairy tale ending for Lincoln who were comfortably beaten 5-0 by Arsenal.

I mean. Cop on to yourself, Lucas.

"We are top of the league, say we are top of the league", rang out the constant chant, an observation not heard often in the Emirates these past few years. I'm not sure you can reverse what's happening at the moment.

Following the win, supporters have voiced their opinions on social media and a lot of them have slated the striker for being totally useless and showing no attempt to try and get into the game.

While being realistic over the prospect of his team upsetting the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, where the Imps are set to bring some 9,000 supporters, Cowley is determined not to let the occasion get to his side.

Non league side Lincoln had made history by becoming the first side from outside the Football League to make the last-eight of the tournament for over a century. They've already beaten teams from the Championship, taking down Ipswich Town and Brighton & Hove Albion (the latter of whom will probably be in the Premier League next season), and they took down Premier League side Burnley away from home in the last round.

The under-fire Arsenal boss saw his side crash out of the Champions League following a 10-2 aggregate defeat to Bayern Munich, but Barcelona came from a 4-0 first leg deficit to progress 6-5 over the two legs. However players who are seen as the underdogs may prioritise these Cup games highly as they can prove themselves on the big stage, against world class talents.

Wenger gave the strongest sign yet that he could draw the curtains on his Arsenal career when he recently said he would manage next season, but did not know if it would be "somewhere else".

"It was all us in the second half but you have to congratulate Lincoln for what they have achieved in the FA Cup".

"Lincoln have an audacious attitude and they are not scared to express their talent".

"I take that on myself", he said when asked about the manner of Arsenal's performance as they shipped four goals in 17 minutes. I always did that, I am not too much anxious about the rest.

Arsenal far from had their own way in the match, with Petr Cech needing to be smart to smother chances, though opening scorer Walcott was delighted to reflect on a job well done in front of their own support, now looking forward to a place at Wembley in the semi-finals.
