Nice South Florida weather for St. Patrick's Day

Irish eyes will be smiling on St. Patrick's Day with sunny skies and a wee bit brisky.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 76 degrees and sustained winds out of the east up to 11 miles per hour.

A light northwest wind will blow periodically throughout the day.

Friday's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 67 and an overnight low of 39. Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. West winds 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Record daily high temperatures are 74 degrees Friday, 78 degrees Saturday and 77 degrees Sunday, weather service data shows.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. Sunday night, a chance of rain after 2 a.m. Motorists in high profile vehicles should use extra caution until the winds subside.&&$$. Cloudy, with a high near 41.

Much the same on Wednesday and Thursday: Highs between mid-50s and mid-60s with a 30 to 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Saturday, a chance of snow before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow between 10 a.m. and noon, then a chance of rain after noon. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. South winds 10 to 15 miles per hour in the morning becoming southwest in the afternoon.
