Watch Lorde get drowned out by male feminists in SNL sketch

Alec Baldwin as Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump during the 'Hillary Clinton Donald Trump Cold Open' sketch

The actor, who rose to fame for her roles in Girl with a Pearl Earring and Lost in Translation, appeared in a faux perfume advert cuttlingly titled "complicit".

"Every man knows her name", the voiceover for the ad begins. They are so intolerant of Max's point of view that one liberal executive even threatens to shoot the dog.

From underlining the "I'm a feminist" vibe by asking, y'know, "How, exactly?", to the pained, skewed smile she seems to plaster on for every photographer, Scar-Jo nails it.

"And so is the woman next to her, right there", he adds, pointing to another military member, this one played by Sassier Zamata.

Scarlett Johansson is set to host tonight's episode of Saturday Night Live, with musical guest Lorde.

"She doesn't crave the spotlight, but, we see her", we hear as Ivanka turns her gaze toward a full-length mirror to apply lipstick.

Saturday Night Live had a lot of goofy, apolitical fun Saturday, but took some time to take the occasional dig at the Trump administration.

Scarlett Johansson, as Ivanka Trump, is "Complicit".

What's amusing is here that Johansson actually does do a lot of this kind of glamourous commercial work, so to see her actively ripping the piss out of it is something.

For the record, Ivanka Trump's two signature issues are six weeks of paid maternity leave and affordable child care, along with women's health, but let's not distract SNL from its mission to denigrate the Trump presidency. "She's... Complicit", says a voice-over narrator.

"Complicit" isn't a fragrance just available for women. Not only that, the Titanic / Billy Zane thing is quite clever. McKinnon also popped up as Attorney General Jeff Sessions on "Weekend Update", along with Alex Moffat as Senator Al Franken; McKinnon said that "Franken" showed him "Jew stuff", so Moffat explained, "We had lunch at a deli, Jeff".
