The Last Of Us 2 Adds Westworld Actor

Westworld Actress Joins the Last of Us Part 2 Cast

No further information has been revealed regarding Woodward's character in the upcoming sequel.

Naughty Dog's upcoming game "The Last of Us 2", which is a sequel to the survival horror video game released in 2013, adds a new cast member into its roster, and it is none other than "Westworld's" Shannon Woodward. Garnering a flawless rating from IGN and Eurogamer as well as a 95 over 100 rating from Metacritic, the game was praised because of its story and great character development.

Troy Baker's Joel is older, grumpier and wiser and will seemingly take a backseat this time around. Therefore, one of the speculations on whether Woodward being Ellie's sister or lover has a possibility of being true. In her Twitter post, she had a selfie with Druckmann while wearing a mo-cap suit.

First announced at PlayStation Experience 2016 with a haunting teaser trailer, The Last of Us Part 2 is in development exclusively for PS4.

The actor tweeted the below picture, alongside creative director Neil Druckmann. "@Neil_Druckmann is letting me act in The Last Of Us:Part II". It has been liked over 3,000 times and retweeted over 800 times.

Druckmann replied "Doesn't look like anything to me", in a nod to a popular Westworld quote. The director's post also garnered a lot of likes and retweets from fans.

"The Last of Us" is played through a third-person perspective wherein players need to navigate a post-apocalyptic world to survive from unsafe and cannibalistic mutants in order to advance in the game. The original Last of Us was filled with well-written, complex characters that served both as allies to Joel and Ellie as well as antagonists, and so expectations are high for the sequel.

Woodward starred as Elsie Hughes in the HBO hit, Westworld.

Currently, there is no release date or pricing available for the game.
