One month after giving birth

Because American royalty and icon Beyoncé just posted the first image of her new twins, Sir Carter and Rumi Carter, whom she and Jay Z welcomed into the world a month ago - and their debut is simply lovely.

Beyonce captioned the shot, "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today", and she used several emojis to show her expanded brood.

Another admirer said: "The twins are 1 month old and Beyoncé's body is snatched already".

But thankfully, they're all been put to bed by Beyonce herself, who confirmed her son and daughter were born in the middle of June, and named Sir Carter and Rumi.

"We would like to share our love and happiness", they wrote alongside the picture. "They're here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday", Mathew Knowles had tweeted on June 18.

We're thrilled the Carters have finally broken their silence and we can't wait to see more photos of the Blue Ivy and the twins. "She was expecting her babies [the premature birth of her twins, editor's note], she quickly regains her hair, her energy returns to normal and her body is magnificent, taking her time to regain her form and take advantage of her family".

The Instagram post also served as the official confirmation of the babies names.

Meanwhile, the celebrity couple have appealed to US Patent and Trademark Office to copyright the names of their twins, to prevent unapproved usage, reported news agency PTI. I won't tell you how and I should make you wait until the end of the show to see this, but I can't wait anymore myself. The photo quickly amassed a million likes in less than 30 minutes on Instagram, and that fueled a swell of social media activity even in the middle of the night.

News of the twins came less than a year after the release of the R&B singer's 2016 album "Lemonade", in which she appeared to address long-standing rumors of trouble in her eight-year marriage.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are music's royal family.
