Roger Federer dreaming of making Wimbledon history on Sunday

Sam Querrey Shocks Andy Murray, Books Spot in Wimbledon Semifinals

Sachin Tendulkar Attends Wimbledon 2017 Semi-Final to Support Roger Federer.

"I feel very privileged to be in another final", Federer said.

Cilic is now 5-0 against Querrey and 3-0 against the American at Wimbledon.

Cilic thrashed Federer in the 2014 US Open semi-finals and also had match points against the tennis record setter in last year's quarter-finals. He has everything working for him at the moment.

"Roger is playing the best tennis of his career on this court", Cilic said.

"It's unbelievable. I have played really well from the start of the tournament", said 28-year-old Cilic. If we take this match into account, there is no doubt that we can expect a tremendous battle on Sunday.

Tendulkar, who was a part of the Cricket Advisory Committee that appointed Ravi Shastri as India's new coach, will now look to unwind at SW19. It would be a big ask for the Croatian to beat Federer in his own territory, but Cilic would not be feeling undue pressure over the big match.

In spite of Querrey's loss, the Grand Slam-starved United States is optimistic about its future. "It's been a fun run", said Querrey. "Here I am again to support him".

Federer booked his place in his 11th final by seeing off Tomas Berdych yesterday and if he repeats the feat against Cilic he will be crowned champion for the eighth time - eclipsing Pete Sampras and William Renshaw. Cilic got 14 break points to Querrey's three today, and this is what kept him ahead in the Centre Court match.

'It was a long way back, ' added Federer, who turns 36 in less than a month.

While it was a huge disappointment for the three-time Wimbledon and 12-time Grand Slam champ, Berdych decided to pay homage to Djokovic by wearing his face on his sneakers.

But the American dug deep and came out fighting - immediately breaking back and holding firm to force another tiebreak. After winning the first two sets 7-6 (4) 7-6 (4), the third set saw World No. 11 find an excellent opportunity to break Federer's serve.
