Anna Faris admitted she felt 'lonely' days before splitting with Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announce separation

Originally scheduled to hit shelves October 24, Entertainment Weekly reports that exact plans for the release of the book are now unclear following Faris and Pratt's shocking announcement that they are separating after eight years of marriage.

"Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating", the ex-couple said in a joint statement on Facebook.

Also in the book, she writes about the first time Chris told her he loved her and wanted to marry her - he called Anna from a backpacking trip around Europe - and how they moved in together nine months after they started dating. They have one son, Jack, born in 2012.

Determined to preserve the well-being of their child, the actor of 38 years and the actress of 40 years of age have also reported that they had "always love one for another" and that they would continue to have "a deep mutual respect" despite a break that wants to be friendly. They were one of Hollywood's most popular couples and publicly supportive of each other in their work and on social media.

When it came to Pratt, however, Faris gushed about the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star.

The entire focus of the book is love and relationships, meaning nearly the entire thing is about Anna's relationship to her husband of eight years.

For those who still think Jennifer Lawrence had something to do with all this, there is plenty of material devoted to jealousy over costars - a jealousy that went both ways as Anna shared the screen with hunky Chris Evans. Anna's new book titled, Unqualified, has a foreword written by her then-husband, Chris.

"I know that if our circumstances were different, and we weren't as fortunate to be standing here and leading our Hollywood life, we would be happy in the woods together", she said. You've given me so much.

After the news of Pratt and Faris' split, a bevy of fans took to social media to voice their sadness. She was deemed a "home wrecker" while very few people appeared to judge Brad for cheating on his wife. Written by Faris with a foreward written by Pratt, it was being shopped to publishers before they announced their separation. The statement Anna and Chris released was minimal and simple, and they have no obligation to their fans to disclose anything further about the very private and painful decision to end a marriage. She said, "Of course I'm going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would". "Chris will put our crab pots out early in the morning, and later that day, we'll eat fresh crab with a little butter and just look at the scenery".
