Samsung Galaxy Note8 press renders leaked again

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active stylish

Google VR made the announcement on Twitter this afternoon, marking the compatibility of Samsung's devices with the Google Daydream View headset.

One interesting thing to note here is that the Note 8 packs a dual camera sensor setup in contrast to the single camera setup on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. To be precise, Samsung has come up with a few offers on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge devices. We've seen the black and gold version pictured from all sides and with the S-Pen included a while ago.

From the front, the Galaxy Note 8 looks a lot like the Galaxy S8 but it does look boxier, which has traditionally been the case with previous Galaxy Note handsets as well.

As we enter the final month before the mobile fest arrives, it surely is an exciting time. And this time, it looks like it is going to be same with the new device.

Nonetheless, perhaps one of the most shocking features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is not even in hardware or software, but retail. The move brings dueling virtual reality platforms to the latest Galaxy phones, Google Daydream and the Oculus Home platform. Nevertheless, VentureBeat's Evan Blass has published what he thinks the Note 8 will definitely feature.

One of the not-so-good reactions to these leaked images was that the Galaxy Note 8 has the fingerprint sensor in the same place as the Galaxy S8, right next to the camera.

The another report, Ming-Chi Kuo an analyst at KGI Securities reveals the Note 8 will support the 3x optical zoom feature.

As with any leak, take this information with a grain of salt, as Samsung could unveil something completely different during its event.

But the Galaxy Note 8 will have more RAM.

. The smartphone is expected to launch in two variants - one powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC, while the other by a Snapdragon 630 SoC. It is one of the six smartphones that the company plans to launch by the end of this year.
