Eric Bolling's son found dead

Fox News host Eric Bolling out following sexual harassment accusations

Eric Bolling sometimes talked lovingly about his son on Fox News.

According to Hollywood gossip, Eric Chase was the only child of Eric and his wife Adrienne and they were very close.

Initially, some reports claimed that the teenager committed suicide but his father, #Eric Bolling, claimed that was untrue as the authorities said there was no sign of self-harm to his body.

"Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably", the network said in a statement to HuffPost.

Eric Chase Bolling, 19, was found dead Friday. No additional details on his death were immediately available.

The entertainment website reported Chase, a student at CU Boulder, was "having a hard time dealing with the trouble his dad was having at the network".

Bolling's former employer Fox News issued the following statement.

Bolling was embroiled in a scandal involving allegations he sent lewd text messages and selfies to co-workers. That hour on Fox News will now be considered a "news hour", staffed with a rotation of anchors.

Prior to joining the network in 2008, Bolling worked at CNBC and was a former commodities trader. He was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump. A source close to Bolling also confirmed the death to Mediaite as other outlets including TMZ, The Daily Mail, New York Daily News and The Huffington Post began reporting the breaking news.

Fox News host Sean Hannity also offered condolences to Bolling and his family on Saturday.

Mr. Bolling's attorney previously called allegations concerning his client "untrue and terribly unfair".

"So terrible. My heart goes out to Eric and his family", CNN's Don Lemon tweeted. "How absolutely horrific and devastating".

This is a developing story.
