Knicks moving big man after Carmelo Anthony deal — NBA trade rumors

Enes Kanter Found Out He Was Traded During Live Stream At Kid's Basketball Camp

Shipping Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a package of Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a second-round pick was probably the best the Knicks could have done just days before training camp was set to commence.

Carmelo Anthony is gone, but the Knicks have been left with an abundance of centers following the trade with Oklahoma City that became official Monday. "I will constantly continue to do that for him (Anthony), and for the rest of our guys as well, in making his job, the PG job, and everybody's job in the transition very, very easy".

ESPN's Thunder insider, Royce Young, sat down with Dean Blevins and John Holcomb to discuss the trade and what fans can expect. Somehow though, Kanter managed to keep his cool in front of the camera. Anthony asked. "Is that tampering?"

Anthony and George both shot over 42 percent on * a href="*GE*3" *catch-and-shoot 3s and Anthony was in the 93rd percentile leaguewide * a href="*E*" *as a spot-up player.

A three-time Olympic gold medalist, Anthony is the United States Olympic Men's National Team's all-time leading scorer. Anthony has a $27.9 million 2018-19 player option that he has until the end of this season to exercise.

"Come on, D", Anthony said after learning the news. He and George will be a breath of fresh air for a team that ranked dead last in the NBA in 3-point percentage a season ago and whose floor spacing rarely instilled fear in opposing defenses.

While one basketball may not be enough to accomodate three isolation-heavy players, the Thunder will never be short of offense.

"Anytime there's an opportunity to make the team better since 2008. we've tried to put ourselves in position to capitalize, at least know what's going on", Presti said.

It is why we are bringing back the true values and stories right back in the middle of attention. He is taking a more direct route than Anthony to recruit, too, creeping on whichever social media he can.

The "strong belief" is still that Wade will sign with Cleveland.

The Thunder made out like bandits because this move allowed for them to compete while cleaning the slate to do a complete overhaul of their team should these superstars leave after the season.

The Miami Heat aren't sure if they are going to Mexico City for a game this season.

But, George noted, "That's between Sam (Presti) and D-Wade".

The same goes for George, who can also act either as a ball-handler or a screener. Anthony and Wade also traveled to Paris together this summer.

Kanter, 6-11, 245-pounds, is a six-year NBA veteran who holds career averages of 11.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in 445 games played for Utah and Oklahoma City. He was named the NBA Finals MVP in 2006.
