LG's new V30 smartphone is a video and audio powerhouse

For one, LG has chose to finally put Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 platform into a handset along with 4GB of low power DDR4. For selfies, the device packs a 5MP front facing shooter.

While IP68 rated build makes your LG V30 water resistant, we still do not recommend you to take it to a swimming pool or a water park or under a waterfall. Both devices sport a similar look and a similar large screen to body ratio, but the Note 8 has its iconic S Pen feature. The LG V30 is not just a capable smartphone in terms of performance with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM which provides an excellent platform for the preinstalled Android Nougat 7.1.2.

We already know it will sport an OLED display, that it will have a great camera with a f/1.6 aperture and dual, wide-angle lenses cameras. Though a lot has been speculated about this phone, here are some more authentic information about the LG V30.

LG has also included a feature it calls "Cine Video mode", which lets you zoom in on any subject in the frame and apply your choice of 15 filters to the footage. Furthermore, there are some variants that will feature a Bang & Olufsen partnership and comes with a pair of B&O Play headphones. It will come in four colors, Aurora Black, Lavender Violet, Cloud Silver, and Moroccan Blue.

LG has just launched the V30, its newest high-end smartphone. Also upgraded on audio of the LG V30 flagship with the help of Hi-Fi Quad DAC. The V30 also boasts of a receiver that doubles as a microphone.

The V30 uses a rear dual-camera system with a 16-megapixel f/1.6 camera with a 71-degree field of view (FOV) and a 13-megapixel f/1.9 camera with wide-angle FOV of 120 degrees. The Fingerprint Sensor on the rear of the phone is for fast, accurate security and Knock Code allows tapping a pattern on the screen to unlock the V30. The smartphone draws power from a 3300mAh battery with support for wireless and quick charging.

The start of sales of smartphone LG V30 will take place on 21 September in South Korea. The LG V30 features a 6-inch 18:9 OLED FullVision display, but is still 8mm shorter and 3mm narrower than its predecessor.

For photos, the camera sports a crystal clear lens for capturing more light and more detailed images with improved dynamic range and darker darks, thanks to a 10-bit HDR image sensor.

LG V30 follows the same design pattern that we saw in LG G6 but V30 is bigger and lighter.

If you liked the V20's second screen, LG will try to placate you by pointing to the phone's always-on display (AOD) and floating bar features. The LG V30 comes with 64GB/128GB built-in storage and supports expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card. On the connectivity front one would get 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB and Type-C 2.0.

Features include f/1.9 aperture (for the primary sensor), optical image stabilisation, laser auto-focus, phase detection auto-focus.
