A warm/muggy weekend, potentially heavy rain from Nate

Weekend looking nice, and then we'll get some much-needed rain

Rain will be scattered in the morning but will increase in coverage by the afternoon.

Above normal temperatures were with us Thursday with morning lows around 10 degrees above normal and afternoon highs near 5 degrees above normal. Low around 48. Chance of precipitation is 80%. This is followed by an area of showers or even steady rain Monday from the south. The best chance for showers and storms will be on Sunday in our area.

By the time it reaches the NE, it'll be a remnant low...bringing rain to parts of New England.

Saturday will have a mix of clouds and sun with temperatures staying warm in the low and mid 80s.

Thursday: Clear and cool with highs in the mid 60s at the shore, upper 50s inland. Overnight into the weekend, we'll have a couple sprinkles around but your plans should happen without any weather worries.

Showers are Saturday night likely with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 48. Muggy. Highs in the 70s. Low: 70. High: 94. Highs in the mid- to upper 70s. Highs will end up in the mid 70s on Monday. Overall, it's going to be a pretty nice day if you don't mind the high humidity! He is forecast to become a hurricane as he moves into the south central Gulf of Mexico earlyl Saturday.

Hurricane Nate will be a thing of the past for the Gulf Coast Sunday as it will be racing into the mid-Atlantic. A second cold front will be making its way east and the remnant rainfall from Nate should get pulled northward along the frontal boundary and head our way. The air will remain unseasonably mild with highs in the 70s.

Cooler air will move into the region on Tuesday, but temperatures will still run several degrees above average for this point in the year.
