'Carpool Karaoke' taped before Chester Bennington's death released

Watch Linkin Park's 'Carpool Karaoke' with Chester Bennington

It's been nearly three months since the news that Linkin Park's Chester Bennington died by suicide, and the tributes and comments about the lead singer are still pouring in.

But right now, Linkin Park fans are just thrilled to get to see footage of frontman Chester Bennington heartily joking with his bandmates and guest host Ken Jeong - in a segment shot just six days before his June 20 suicide.

Apple dedicated the 23-minute episode to the memory of Bennington, stating that the video was shared "with the blessing of Chester's family and his bandmates".

Jeong, who gives it his all in trying to be a rocker, and Linkin Park impressively belt out songs such as Outkast's "Hey Ya", Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Under the Bridge" and the group's own tracks "Numb", "In the End" and "Talking to Myself".

The now late Linkin Park superstar seemed to be just fine in the video as he sang alongside his friends.

Bennington was found hanging in an upstairs area of his home in the Palos Verdes Estates neighborhood of Los Angeles on July 20. During the episode, Bennington can be heard to say it was probably the greatest day of his life. Whether his kids wished to become musicians or not, he wanted them to follow their passions in life, he said.

Bennington's band will be hosting a benefit concert in his memory on October 27 at the Hollywood Bowl in California. "My daughters love music, and they want to learn how to play instruments".

The full episode can be streamed on Linkin Park's Facebook page.
