"It's a possibility" - Dani Alves speaks about Arsenal's Sanchez joining PSG

Alexis Sanchez could be heading to Real Madrid

Arsene Wenger has rustled the Arsenal fanbase yet again after revealing that both Sanchez and Ozil could leave in January.

Manchester City and PSG are among the clubs rumoured to be interested in the Chilean and Wenger may look to recoup some of the money he paid for him three years ago.

Arsenal's players understand that Alexis Sanchez will finally be allowed to move to Manchester City in the January transfer window, according to reports.

The Gunners face Watford in their first game after the global break on Saturday lunchtime, but they are dealing with something of an injury crisis. They've been embroiled in a contract saga with their reported demands not being met. 'Once you're in our kind of situation, we have envisaged every solution, yes'.

"Talks are going well", Wenger said during his pre-match press conference on Thursday ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Watford. "It is possible [they could go in January]".

Arsenal fans already upset at Sanchez failing to commit himself to the club are now even more frustrated following Chile's World Cup exit.

When that assessment was put to Wenger, the Frenchman said: 'That's my understanding, yes.

The Arsenal attacker suffered World Cup heartbreak as a defeat to Brazil, combined with a Lionel Messi-inspired win for Argentina and a 1-1 draw between Colombia and Peru, saw Chile fail to qualify for Russian Federation 2018. I will always appreciate him. He is very close to being considered like everybody else.

Both players are in the final year of their contracts and many of Europe's top clubs are looking to sign them.

"I believe it's important we keep our young centre-backs, they blossom at 24 so it's important to keep them in that period".
