Celtics make it 10 straight wins

The point guard said Boston's team chemistry has been behind their success this season

They'll be without Gordon Hayward for the rest of the season after the All-Star suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the first quarter of opening night, and Al Horford missed Wednesday's game as complies with the league's concussion protocol.

Ultimately, this is something that Lonzo has become used to at this point given that his father has always behaved in this manner but is now catching the attention of the media. For DFS purposes, it doesn't help that he'd see Dwight Howard and the Hornets on Friday.

In more recent memory, the greatest Laker to have participated in this rivalry was Kobe Bryant. Welcome to the development part of the game, something everybody seemed to intellectually understand was needed, but the hype machine spun out of control with Lonzo (you can thank LaVar and a desperate Laker fan base for that). By the 8:36 mark of the fourth quarter, the Lakers had clawed all the way back to within three points at 89-86. It isn't pretty, but the team has been able to string some wins together and look like it could be a possible contender in the Western Conference. Karl Anthony-Towns continues to show why he is the future of the Timberwolves' franchise while averaging a team best 21.8 points per game and 10.9 rebounds per game. "So I'll make sure that I talk to him and if he needs anything in any situation we'll be there for our guys".

After a 4-of-15 shooting performance on a big, national stage against the Celtics' Wednesday, it's been time in the media for another round of "what's wrong with Lonzo Ball's shooting?" He then bounced off of Ball and lofted a shot over the rookie and center Brook Lopez.

Ball said the Lakers haven't suggested tweaking his funky shooting mechanics, which include pushing the ball with his right hand from next to his left ear. The Celtics got that win with the injuries piling on even more. He drove the lane on the play, going to his right, and running by Ball.

But the banged-up Celtics are the hottest team in the NBA for a reason.

Kobe struggled from the floor for the entire night as he only scored 19 points on 40 percent shooting. It is obvious just watching him this season that he's taken pride in getting those around involved and making the game easier for teammates. "I know I can shoot the ball". So it's no surprise he is doing as well as he is.
