Corey Grant scores on fake punt, giving Jacksonville 6-0 lead

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette out runs Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Ethan Westbrooks for yardage during the second half of an NFL football game Sunday Oct. 15 2017 in Jacksonville Fla. The Rams beat the Jaguars 2

The Chargers bottled up Leonard Fournette (17 carries for 33 yards), and though Bortles led the Jaguars to a game-tying touchdown late in the third quarter, he made two bad decisions on throws in the final two minutes that should have cost the Jaguars the game.

After the two interceptions late, Bortles directed the game-tying drive at the end of regulation. However, they went toe-to-toe with the Jaguars great defense and had their chances to win before old issues reared their head.

The Chargers took the lead with 47 seconds remaining in the second quarter on a 28-yard touchdown pass from Rivers to Ekeler. The result was a third-and-25 play that resulted with another interception of Bortles by Boston. Bortles was forced to get rid of the pass quickly when right guard A.J. Cann whiffed on Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, who supplied pressure on the play.

Corey Grant took a direct snap on a fourth-and-7 play, juked one defender, made another miss and then zigzagged his way for a 56-yard touchdown in the first quarter. The two picks happened within 30 seconds of each other.

Los Angeles wasn't much better offensively, punting on each of its first five possessions. A pass by Bortles was batted in the air and the ball was caught by Chargers safety Tre Boston.

That tied the game 17-17 with a few seconds left to play, and the game went to overtime.

Is the betting total for Sunday's matchup between the Chargers and Jaguars set too low?

"They're committed to it for sure", Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said about Jacksonville and the running game. At the snap, Allen ran up field and initiated contact, creating a buffer for Ekeler to fake a route inside and work back toward the sideline.

All day the running back was coming to Bosa's side to lend help, tight ends were chipping him, and Bortles was fearing him. The third-year middle linebacker wasted no time in getting acquainted with Leonard Fournette, and racked up seven tackles in the first half alone.

Lambo made two clutch field goals in the fourth quarter and overtime.
