Injury updates on Wizards' John Wall and Lakers' Larry Nance Jr

Capital One Arena 7:00 p.m. ET

On the same day John Wall and Bradley Beal reiterated a belief that the Cleveland Cavaliers didn't want any part of the Washington Wizards during last season's playoffs, LeBron James performed like a man unafraid of anything. They did a good job coming in defensively and we put them on their best two players so really pleased with the young group. I felt like that's the reason they didn't play us in the second round. The Celtics had the conference's best record, though it eventually did them little good, as Boston lost to Cleveland in four games.

Cleveland went 4-7 in the final 11 games of the 2016-17 regular season and fell to the No. 2 seed in the East.

The Raptors played Friday without C.J. Miles, who had flu symptoms, so he might return Sunday to lead the second unit as he has done so well this season. "Just, again, consistency is what we're fighting for". "But I feel like (Cleveland forward Channing Frye) threw a shoulder into mine because I've split screens before and hit somebody's shoulder and their body, and never had that type of injury".

Currently, many assume he'd head west to play for the Los Angeles Lakers, as he has a home in the area and also has many ties to the entertainment industry he might want to pursue following his playing career. "I always stand by it because I mean, why would I sit here and say another team's better than my team? I've got confidence in myself and my teammates and what we can bring to our team and what we can accomplish".

The Cavaliers and Wizards are the two most efficient teams when driving to the hoop this season. "We just got to find a way to get over that hump and beat them and go to the Finals". Davis finished with 30 points and 13 boards while Cousins added 20 points, 22 rebounds and seven assists. We know we can challenge them, and they know they challenge us. "It's going to give us a boost".

"I don't have a comment about that", James said.

"We were scoring, that wasn't the problem", Wall said after the game on Friday. In an interview with Rachel Nichols of ESPN, prior to tipoff, Bradley Beal and John Wall were sending out shots from the Cavs not wanting to face them in the playoffs previous year to the Wizards being the best team in the East. "We're a targeted team now".
