Nokia 2 Smartphone: The long lasting impression with 2 day battery life

Nokia 2

On the battery front, the Nokia 2 is fuelled by a massive 4,100mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 2 days of battery life on normal usage. The handset comes with Android Nougat preinstalled and is fitted with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of onboard memory (expandable to 128GB with a microSD card).

On the back you'll find an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and automatic scene detection, while a 5-megapixel snapper adorns the front for those all-important selfies. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and A-GPS. The chipset has a Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno 304 GPU.

The Nokia 2 has finally be unveiled by HMD in India today as an entry-level Nokia Android device.

Price: Though, the price of the handset has not been divulged, it has been priced at 99 euros at the global market which is over Rs 7000. Despite these claims, the phone did exhibit signs of lag during my brief hands on with the device. The Nokia 2 will be available in Pewter, White, and Copper color variants.

HMD Global, the small Finnish firm behind Nokia's comeback into the smartphone game seems to be quite bullish about the Nokia 2.

HMD Global announced the Nokia 2 phone Tuesday. "India is one of the largest". Well, it's the brand image and reputation that Nokia has had for years. A budget smartphone with flagship design.

According to Seiche, India has the potential to become the company's leading revenue contributor from as early as next year. "If you look at who we actually talk to when we designed this proposition, it was the younger user".

HMD Global chief product manager Juho Sarvikas recently hinted that the company could soon bring Lumia UI-like features to existing Nokia smartphone. They became the most reliable phones in the market. Of course, its extremely low pricing reflects the lack of mid-range or high-end features. Sure it got lost in the way when it moved in with Microsoft. The Nokia 2 has been the subject of quite a few leaks, as such, it is pretty much what we expected. Just like the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, & Nokia 6, the new Nokia 2 also comes with IP52 certification.
